Shauna Switzer is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Clinical Director of Switzer Counselling & Psychotherapy Associates. With over 20 years of experience in private practice, she provides compassionate and evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in Georgetown and Oakville.
Shauna is a Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD), an EMDR Certified Therapist, a Sensorimotor Trauma Therapist, and an Emotionally Focused Couple, Individual, and Family Therapist. She also offers clinical supervision to registered professionals and Master-level interns, fostering the next generation of skilled psychotherapists.
Holding a Master of Counselling Psychology degree and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Wales Trinity St. David, Shauna remains dedicated to deepening her expertise in best psychotherapeutic practices. Her work is informed by the latest research in interpersonal and affective neuropsychology.

Aishwarya Rawat is a Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in Adolescent as well as Adult counselling at our Georgetown office and was an essential participant of the founding of Switzer Counselling & Psychotherapy Associates. Ash holds a Master of Arts Counselling Psychology degree and has provided psychotherapy at Switzer Counselling & Psychotherapy Associates for the past 7 years.
Ash brings warmth and empathy into the counselling room as her clients navigate and understand their internal experiences and complex processes.
