Marcus Costa works at Switzer Counselling’s Georgetown office. His areas of interest include men’s mental health, anxiety, depression, trauma, cultural issues, spirituality, emotional regulation, and other life challenges.
Marcus believes that every person carries a unique story shaped by their experiences, relationships, culture, and the path they have travelled. He views therapy as a collaborative process where clients can explore their experiences, develop new perspectives, recognize their strengths, and make meaningful changes that align with their values and goals.
Marcus takes a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that there is no single blueprint for healing. He strives to create a therapeutic space that feels genuine, approachable, and free from judgment. He has a particular passion for working with men and men’s mental health, while also enjoying his work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
